US accuses 6 immigrants from Bosnia of sending money, weapons to help Islamic State group by Princess Strickland

This past Friday, 6 immigrants were charged and indicted with aiding terrorists.  The group has sent money, U.S. military uniforms, weapons, tactical gear and other items to terrorists connections in Turkey and Saudia Arabia.

Those indicted include Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, 40, his wife, Sedina Unkic Hodzic, 35, and Armin Harcevic, 37, all of St. Louis; Nihad Rosic, 26 of Utica, New York; Mediha Medy Salkicevic, 34, of Schiller Park, Illinois; and Jasminka Ramic, 42 of Rockford, Illinois.  Five of them has been arrested and the other one is currently overseas.  All are Bosnians who took up residency here in the United States.  According to the Missourian newspaper, "three are naturalized citizens; the other three either had refugee or legal resident status, according to the U.S. attorney's office."

The accussed could face life in prison if convicted of charges of conspiring to provide material support and resources to terrorists and with providing material support to terrorists. Rosic and Ramiz Hodzic are could be convicted of conspiring to kill and maim people in a foreign country.

  1. This reminds me of the Red Scare and the immigration quotas. America wouldn't be where it is today without its immigrants, they are truly Americans.
