it was a ride an a haunted hayride in Maine. The 22 people were riding down hill on a trail in the woods as the vehicle tried to make a sharp turn. the driver missed the turn and went into the woods to soon after run into a tree. it is believed that the jeep towing the carts had a mechanical problem and that was the cause of the accident. 17-year-old Cassidy Charette was killed in the accident, along with other that had all kinds of broken bones. broken wrists, backs, legs, head injuries, and scrapes along with plenty of other injuries were detected. the age of the victims ranged from 10 years of age to about 50. helicopter rescue and other police officials arrived to the scene to help the victims to a local hospital. 2 employees were also injured and released after some time spent in the hospital.
many incidents in us history have related to this. being not fully alert or aware can make events turn for the worst very fast like they have for many battles of the US.
