This is sad. I can only imagine how these people are feeling. Most people were leaving their family homes and memories behind and there was absolutely nothing they could do to save them. It must be pretty stressful having to completely relocate. I honestly have no idea what we would do if we lost out city to lava. I hope everyone who was affected is successfully transitioned to another place.

Situations like this one have a way of making you appreciate what you have and where you live. Natural disasters here in the DFW area won't do too much damage, but Hawaii is surrounded by water and some places have volcanoes. It is a risk living near these danger zones and I hope they get through the loss of their homes. The main thing is that they are safe though.

It is unfortunate that these people lose their homes and they have to watch helplessly as they lose all their possessions.
