In a high school in Washington, a 15 year old student shot a group of classmates at lunch with a .40 caliber handgun. This was a very likable kid so no one saw this coming. Earlier that month he had been named homecoming king. Of the people he had shot, 3 have been killed including himself. The forensic have confirmed it was suicide. The town is now morning and hoping to recover from this incident.
This situation of any person with a gun in a school happens too often. When is it going to be enough? I thought that after Sandy Hook that people would have learned their lesson. I wonder how this kid got into the school with a gun? They needed to have metal detectors or something to better control the prevention of this. Should we all be allowed to bear arms? I have a conflict with the second amendment when stuff like this happens. I understand how the right to bear arms comes with a purpose, but far too frequently this amendment get abused. We need to step back and really understand what guns are doing to our society.
