On October 22, 2014 a toddler was being watched by his grandmother in Maryville, Tennessee. This toddler is known for doing adventurous things and finding ways to entertain himself as a toddler would do. His grandmother was checking her phone and when she looked up she noticed the toddler climbing into the toy claw. She tried to get him out but his feet kicked her hands refusing to get out. He found himself playing inside of the toy claw with the stuffed animals inside. The grandmother called the fire department and the police to try and get the little boy out. When the parents were called after sleeping from a long day at work, they laughed and weren't surprised at all.
I think this has to impact the U.S. because these machines are very popular and kids find them fascinating. They can be made taller and more secure by not allowing little kids to be able to crawl inside. I didnt even think this was possible but its interesting to see this on the news and such an important incident on a safety and security level.

I've actually heard of this happening before with other children and although it's amusing it could end bad if one isn't careful enough.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Elvira... It's kind of funny but at the same time I am just glad the kid wasn't hurt.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Elvira…this is very dangerous but also sort of funny.
