American Prisoner Released from North Korea: Citlali Gutierrez 6thpd

On Tuesday Jeffrey Fowle, was released from North Korea. Fowle was arrested for leaving a bible behind in a club for foreign sailors. An american government plane picked up Jeffrey early tuesday and then flew to Guam. Currently two other Americans Mathew Miller and Kenneth Bae are still being held prisoners but Fowle had no contact with them at all. Fowle had broken one of the laws and asked for forgiveness from the public and their government.

I feel this can relate to when the Native tribes would kidnap people and vice versa. This doesn't just happen with North Korea and we still have many Americans held in different countries. The writer speaks in 1st person and gets right to the point with all the facts of what happened. http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/21/politics/american-released-north-korea/index.html

  1. It's great that he was returned safely. Most of the time strict laws are enforced that limit those who can leave North Korea.
