Kalena Rodriguez p5 Washington school shooter

Five victims that were involved in last weeks school shooting in Washington were invited to the same lunch table by the shooter. It is believed they were invited "via text." Jaylen Fryberg, a popular fourteen-year-old freshman opened fire in a crowded lunchroom at Marysville-pilchuck high school.
The boy sent his ex-girlfriend a selfie of himself with a gun not too long before the shooting. The boy killed Zoe Galasso, and four others were shot before he took his own life as well. Gia Soriano also died later at the hospital after her major injuries and traumas.

There are laws made by the state stating no arms in these areas, officials hired to help prevent these situations, but also a right to bear arms and this amendment could play a part in how this boy received a gun.

  1. I think the second amendment, indirectly, definitely gave him a gun, and as I get older the right to bear arms just makes less and less sense in my mind.

  2. In today's society with technology and a more advanced social structure, weaponizing citizens is kind of useless, as the government could squash any rebellions they wanted to. i agreed with the above
