In San Francisco, radio stations have temporarily banned the hit song from last year, "Royals" by Lorde, from the airwaves in preparation for the playoffs. This ban seems pointless as the playoffs are not until the beginning of next year, but many Giants fans found the momentary ban fitting as they wished to see their team at least make it to the playoffs. It is ridiculous that the city of San Francisco is so concerned about their baseball team that they will ban a song that hardly ever plays anymore. This ridiculous ban will appear to be a pointless excuse for why the Giants may beat the Royals, but it will not matter whether or not a song is played on the airwaves seemingly supporting a sports team. It really comes down to the actual work and effort put in by the teams.

That is really petty. Is the song going to affect the playoffs in any way? -Avery Alexnader
