German U-Boat found in North Carolina by Mackenzie McGregor

Recently, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced that is discovered a German submarine, U-576, off the coast of Cape Hatteras. It's location was exactly 240 yards from the American merchant ship used during World War II, Bluefields. By discovering this submarine, researchers and scientists can further delve into our history and discover how impactful the Battle of the Atlantic truly was, as well as what effect it has on Americans today.
