"Why Escape When You're Guilty" -Aleah Washington 1st period

Three inmates escaped from Orange County Jail in Los Angeles prison. The youngest man was charged with murder, the next charged with kidnapping and torture, and the eldest was charged with attempted murder. The men were serving hard time and weren't going to be let off any time soon because of the crimes they committed. For the world to be stable and nation's to be safe laws are put in place to protect the communities. It's only fair to have jail time if you have done something bad and against the law because you deserve it. "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." This expression advises you to not to do something risky unless you're willing and able to accept the full weight of the consequence.
The U.S. is the land of dreams and home of the brave and free. We have to live a disciplined life and have a strong law enforcement to protect our lives. The community paying attention to this is important because of safety and it makes you wonder why do something bad that would make you a dangerous person but not want to pay the price for it. The right to remain silent can also tie into this situation because many people accidently give themselves up and say something that proves they're guilty.
