Flint Water Crisis: EPA calls state and city's response "inadequate"

This article is talking more about the recent discovery of contaminated water in Flint, Michigan. The Environmental Protective Agency "slammed" Flint and said that what they are doing was, "inadequate to protect public health."

Synthesis: This a very serious problem and is extremely harmful to everyone in the city of Flint. The people in charge of the water situation should be taking responsibility and working harder to find out who is responsible for this, and how can they fix it. This can be synthesized with the rising of cities during the 1800s and how contaminated the streets would become and the uncleanliness of everyones living condition.

  1. I can't help but think about the reform efforts made by teddy Roosevelt in the early 1900s. He foresaw issues such as these. Hopefully this will not become common in the future.
