21 dead in Northeast Blizzard - Christa Hamby p1

A killer snowstorm that paralyzed parts of the South then swept into the nation's capital turned its sights on greater New York City early Saturday, packing gale-force winds, heavy snow and coastal flooding. By the time the storm moves out Sunday, one in seven Americans could be under at least half a foot of snow, and Washington, D.C. could see snowdrifts more than 4 feet high.At least 21 people were reported dead as a result of the storm. Officials trumpet progress in the storm cleanup but warn of dangers in travel. One of the hardest-hit locales was Glengary, West Virginia, about 85 miles northwest of Washington, which preliminary figures show received 42 inches of snow.

Thank God for global warming.  Without it we would have to wait for Spring to find all the frozen bodies ...if we were to stop using electricity, within weeks, global temperatures would return to their normal cycles and ranges. Though burning fossil fuels does add a small percentage of heat to our environment, it does not significantly contribute to regional or global heating. The pollutants that we put into our environment does adversely affect our biosphere, but does not contribute to atmospheric temperatures. They are using the global warming issue to divert our attention away from the real cause of regional heating, our use of electricity. As well, they are using the issue to generate new tax revenue called the carbon tax.
