2 kids died in Tennessee for drinking "Dewshine", a combination of methanol and mountain dew. A group of 16 year olds mixed mountain dew and Methanol and drank it, 2 of them were hospitalized and Logan Stevenson, J.D. Byram died, Logan Stevenson dies last thursday and J.D. Byram died on monday. Methanol is used in a gas and when consumed by someone, the effects are confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, and headaches...etc.
This is a unfortunate event. In todays society, teenagers want to get a "high" and it seems that a lot of people try to try new things. The problem is, in the moment kids are not thinking of the consequences-there just wanting to get a "high". People need to think about the future and how dumb it is to make that poor of a decision. This situation with the 2 kids that died in tennessee is extremely horrific and scary. ReplyDeleteI agree this is such a sad thing to have to read about but it's also like what the heck were these kids even doing with methanol?? In this case you should most definitely NOT risk it to get the biscuit.
That is crazy to hear that kids would mix mountain dew and methanol and think they would be okay. However, it is still really sad to hear about their deaths.
