"Train mysteriously runs loose in Chicago, injuring dozens" Ashley Barnes 2nd Period

This morning, a parked train somehow managed to get back onto the rails, and start moving. The four car train managed to crash into a train with passengers in it; this train with eight cars. It is still unclear as to how a train could start moving again on it's own; it is possible that criminal activity was involved in the accident. Further investigation continues. Out of the 48 people injured, thankfully all of have so far only been reported as minor injuries. 

It is crazy to think that a parked train could start moving again. As stated in the article, trains can only be started if they are given energy. Hopefully this situation was an accident, and not caused on purpose to harm passengers. The article also said that the train rail service has very high protection standards; so this is not typical event for this rail line. Hopefully all of the patients fully recover.

    It's so weird that a parked train car could start moving again. It's a relief that no one was seriously hurt though. I hope that if criminal activity was involved, police catch the people who did it.
