Bryon Champ and Kewane Gatewood were charged today for being involved in the mass shooting that took place on September 19. Among the 13 injured from this shooting is a 3 year old boy, shot near the ear. Though investigators have not discovered the responsible gunmen in this case, they are reportedly making great strides towards doing so.
This kind of mass shooting is really unacceptable. Investigators suspect it to be a gang-related crime, which only makes matters more outrageous. It makes me sick to think that there are people out there without the decency to stop before shooting a little boy, at the very least.

This is truly riveting. I never thought that sitting in America, the pinnacle of safety and 1st world lifestyles, I would have to worry about a mass murder going down in my country. I know this is common in third world environments for civil issues, but in my opinion, it's completely unnecessary and inappropriate to happen in the USA.
ReplyDeleteThis is truly sad to me.. There has been WAY too much going in this world. I mean we just had the 12th Anniversary of 9/11 &' already we have had a shooting in A Navy Yard &' now this ?!?!! We need to be coming together not going against each other

What is wrong with people? Why are people beginning to think its okay to go shoot people?
ReplyDeleteI understand why people want rights for owning guns, but situations like this make me question the other side of the opinion. It saddens me to know that there are people who are either mentally ill enough or evil enough to commit such a crime... My heart goes out to the families this affected.

Gang violence is some of the worst and more prevalent crimes in America today. Especially with all the drug stuff going on. It's terrible that a mother should have to worry about her 3 year old son getting shot by gang members. Youth that innocent should be preserved and not harmed in such a severe way.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is just appalling. Its insane that people actually wake up in the morning and know they are planning to "go shoot some people today" like its somehow a game. Those people are so incredibly selfish, and definitely don't deserve to be free. Someone like that needs serious mental help...
