Erinn Green: 12-year-old Garland girl found

GARLAND, Texas -
A missing Garland girl found by police is now home with her family. Police say 12 year old Adrienne Solorzano was located Saturday afternoon in good physical condition. Friends from her church found her at the Blue Lobster Mexican Restaurant in the 700 block of Centerville. After interviewing the girl, police say they believe she ran away.
Solorzano had been missing since Thursday morning. Police say on Thursday her father went to her school to meet Solorzano and her teacher.  The 12-year-old was told to join them in the main building, but never showed up.

This story is actually really weird. Normally if a child goes missing  its not by choice. In this case it seems that the 12 year old girls ran away because she thought that maybe she would be in trouble. She's been missing since Thursday and hadn't made any effort to go back home. And she wasn't being held against her will. I hope that her and her family sit down and have a serious talk so that they'll get an understanding to why she felt the need to run away and what they can do to help ensure that it won't happen again.

This actually kind of made me laugh because the things children will do to not get in trouble is actually worse than if they do. Well I'm glad somebody safe and nice found her first instead of somebody dangerous.
