HIV, Porn, and Condoms Hooray!!! Imani Williams

Okay.....first off NO I didn't just look for a highly controversial topic, it found me. So like most of you, I google current events and went to CNN's website. As I clicked random buttons this popped up. Now, its in my title so obviously I read it, and yes, the selection was about all of the above listed. Despite what most "highly moral" people would like to think, Porn IS a job, and you should always feel safe at your job. I'd actually been wondering how all porn stars don't just shrivel up and die after their, oh, 7th film due to various diseases. I never knew they took their jobs seriously, getting routine health checks and such. The article goes into detail about how an adult film producer is mandating condoms on all sets of her films. Apparently condoms don't sell, but she wants to be safe! The good ol' US of A actually spends somewhere around $10 billion a year on adult entertainment, which is as much as we spend attending professional sporting events, buying music or going out to the movies.

  2. I'm actually really glad you chose this current event. A lot of people regard porn stars as unprofessional, dirty, or gross. Porn is an actual job that gets paid pretty good money. Professional porn stars are just that, professionals. They take their job very seriously and there's something to be said about someone who has that much sex constantly and still looks like they enjoy it while being filmed. I hold porn stars in the highest respects.

  3. I think this is a great way to practice safe sex whether or not it is your job. To whoever is watching, it shows that condoms SHOULD be used even by the pros. Like gatorade. Athletes aren't just advertising it, they are actually drinking it. Don't knock pornography as a profession. This economy has forced people to take drastic measures and if everyone is paying taxes and helping out, it shouldn't matter what they do.

  4. honestly, porn stars still giv eme the eebie jeebies, because if you're getting paid to let men or women stare at you in a disrespectful way, exposing ALL of you wouldn't you be a bit embarrassed? Just my opinion, Im sure theyre great at their job.... i guess..

  6. Wow, i don't like what porn stars or porn in general, it just doesn't give respect to your own body. You are showing it off to random strangers.
