Miss Teen USA: Screamed Upon Learning She was 'Sextortion' Victim by Joi Ware

Summary: 19 year old, Jared James Abraham, was arrested for allegedly taking nude pictures from girls private webcams. The rumor going around is that the criminal and the Teen Miss USA winner went to high school together, Wolf said the two had no personal connection in high school. She thought his name was familiar when she first heard he was a suspect but let the thought go. Her computer was hacking months before the first threat which was in March. When Wolf first saw the photos she said it felt like she was in a movie. It was reported last month that some high end tv's with built in cameras can be hacked into. Without proper security procedures these hackings will continue.
Analysis: This is crazy, I was watching a news segment on this a couple of weeks back. It showed that it could hack into girls computers with built in webcameras or even girls phone. Could you imagine coming out of the shower and a picture gets taken of you? Nude? and how horrifying it would be to get a message of yourself revealed? What this girl had to go through must have been a horrifying experience. Its so sad that people have to stoop so low to get they want instead of earning it like every other person in this world. Its a crazy crazy world we live in and day by day it keeps getting weirder.

This is one of the scariest things I have ever heard of!!!! People now a days have such sick minds to do things like that. I can only imagine how the girl felt, that man took away her privacy for forever.

  2. I would hate for this to happen to one of my friends, but more importantly, it would be particularly frightening if this happened to someone in my family. Every piece of technology has a camera on it, so it's hard to get around that. I hope the security issue is solved soon.

  3. I read the same article... It legitimately freaked me out. Like who knows if someone is watching you through your phone. That would mean they know everything you do, everywhere you go. Modern technology gives creeps way to many devices and ways to be creepy.

  4. Its so scary to think even though we have all of these security cameras, patrols, and ect.; that there are people willing enough to figure out ways to invade our personal lives.

  5. It's crazy that people go to such great lengths to actually hack in to someones computer and snap pictures of them in their most vulnerable stage. This needs to be resolved soon, because no one is truly safe.

  6. This brings up the questions of whether we ever really have privacy and how can we control it. It's interesting to consider.
