Wednesday October 8, 2014 the second total lunar eclipse will occur. (Specified times determined on time zone). Also called a "blood moon" because it is coppery red, is due to the fact that all the sunsets and sunrises from the earth will reflect onto the lunar surface. "The eclipse will only be visible in its entirety from parts of eastern Australia, New Zealand, Eastern Asia, most of Japan, the Hawaiian Islands and the western part of North America," said Slooh.com. The the next time this will happen will be on April 4, 2015.
I think this is pretty amazing how these things happen in nature. I have never experienced one of these yet in person and hope to this year. I also think it's pretty cool how as a world we get to experience it together, uniting us in a certain way.

I think this is so cool and always love when universal things in nature occur because everyone from everywhere can get excited and see it together. It's so interesting how nature can just create such amazing scenes like this.

I actually just love these kinds of things, since there are so few special events like this for one to see in their lifetime. To think about the effects of the worlds outside of our own when our planet is at a certain angle in comparison to the moon or the sun, changing our perspective in daily life, as well as the universes that surround us, is so incredibly interesting, and should be given more importance and thought.

I love to stay up and watch these happenings with friends or family. It is so cool to see what so many people in the world are looking at. Quentin noble 2
