A man was arrested on Saturday due
to his connection with a wildfire which destroyed more than 150 home along
Northern California and close to the Oregon border. The Boles Fire scorched just over 500 acres over 5 days in Northern
California. There were mass evacuations, and more than 1,000 homes threatened
at one point. 500 acres burned, 157 homes and eight commercial buildings,
according to Cal Fire. Another four homes and three buildings suffered damage.
It took 1,000 firefighters, 100 engines, 28 bulldozers and five helicopters to
get the fire under control. The 24-year-old man is arrested, booked on three
arson charges. Marshall's bail was set at $250,000. The fire has caused many

I wonder what caused the man to start such a horrific fire? It is important that people understand the full effect of wild fires. Wild fires are unpredictable and are very hard to contain. This area is going to take a long time to fully recover from all the damage that has happened in a short amount of time.
