The "Race Card" by:Taylor Grant-Gates

Sarah Palin is back on President Obama's case again. This time she has accused him of playing the "race card". Today she honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., by posting this message in Facebook, "Mr.President, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card." WTF??? She literally has the gall to say this to the president? If she wants to end the racial divide so friggin bad then why is she bringing this up? It is to my understanding that you play the race card when something doesn't go your way, that is when a person says something like "it's because I'm black isn't it?" I have not heard of our President  saying this. Not to say that race wasn't brought up while he was running for his first and second term, but it is not what defines his campaign. If it was just about race he would have stayed in office for one term and that's all. Palin contradicted herself by bringing up the main thing that she is "trying" to stop. She needs to go sit down in we backyard at Russia. Thank you ad have a great day. And also why did she have to bring it up on MLK day? If it is such a big deal bring it up sooner, the start and the stop of racial division is not necessarily defined by one day out of 365.

  1. Palin is both depressing and hilarious in her inability to assess political situations, and this is no exception; in addition, however, she's treated us to a bit of racial insensitivity this time around. If there's any card that needs to be discarded at this point, it's her religious persecution card.
