Wingmen- Francesca Bartos, 2nd

When it comes to ladies, male fruit flies often battle each other for a mate. But this new experiment shows that male fruit flies who are also brothers will help each other obtain mates, or even share. This increases reproductive life of the female and also increases the chance of offspring surviving to adulthood. Scientists say that is could be an alternative way of making sure genes are passed on. This is like sister wives, except with males, and there's no marriage.

  1. Byron Otis-what a fun fact. Not only is it like sister wives, it's like incestuous strange brother husbands. I'm glad I'm not a fruit fly.
