Pot and Planes: Joan Milburn pd. 1

So, if you're stuck at an airport in Colorado with your marijuana, what do you do? Don't worry! Colorado Airports have plans to set up amnesty boxes so that the pot can be disposed of penalty free. Now the airport knows that pot may be illegal in other states(most states) so they do make a point to warn travelers about it and gives them the opportunity to get rid of it. They don't actually allow the people to get on the planes with it because it is illegal to fly to another state where pot is against the law.

Response
I think this is interesting. Personally I believe marijuana should be legalized even if I don't enforce it. I think it would make the crime rate lower, and so on and so on. I think it is actually pretty cool that the airports in colorado are recognizing that though pot is legal there it shouldn't be taken to another state and therefore gives them a way to dispose of it.
