"Man posts own wanted poster to Facebook, arrested 45 minutes later" - By Eric Pfeiffer
A man who has been avoiding the police since November 2013 is now in jail all from posting his mugshot on Facebook. Now being set on bail for $25,000, Anthony James Lescowitch supposedly leaked his own mug shot by accident in order to taunt authorities such as the Freeland police. Friends responded to the released mug with comments like: "I can't like that!!" and another "Good luck lmao." In order to arrest A.J. Lescowitch, the police set up a fake Facebook profile of a woman . When caught, the Police Department announced the arrest on its own Facebook page. "CAPTURED!!!!!! SHARES OUR STATUS ON FACEBOOK ABOUT HIMSELF, CAPTURED 45 MINUTES LATER.”
I have i love/hate opinion towards this article. One: It shows how clever this Police Department and how the law will eventually catch up to criminals. Two: It shows the lack of common sense that some people have and the terrible consequences that arise from it.

Byron Otis- This is both amusing and annoying. Funny, because of the quick response the police had, and annoying, because of the stupidity of this guy. I suppose it's all well, though, since he WAS wanted. I wish I knew what he was wanted for, though. Also, I wish I knew more about how they caught him.
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I can't believe people can be so idiotic sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHa! That barmpot has a serious lack of good judgement.
ReplyDeleteThis is just sad, just goes to show how many people lack common sense. Doubt he'll be on Facebook again anytime soon!
ReplyDeleteStupid game strong
