An 11-year old girl was found unconscious in an upstairs bedroom of her home. She later passed away. Her sister, who called the police, originally said that an intruder had stabbed her half-sister. as a result, three schools were put in lockdown. But police discovered that the girl had been stabbed multiple times by her own sister with a kitchen knife because she thought the younger girl was ungrateful. When the police questioned her, she admitted to stabbing her sister. The 14-year old cooked dinner and did chores for her sister. She was upset since her half-sister had recently hit her. She thought about the attack for ten to fifteen minutes, went downstairs to get a knife. She said she took a shower afterwards to get rid of the blood. The case is currently in juvenile court since she is a minor, but there's a chance that it could be moved to adult court. Neighbors thought that the two were close, as they spent a lot of time playing and practicing cheerleading together.
This is a pretty terrifying story. The fact that this is a case of a kid (who would be 3 years younger than myself) stabbing and killing another kid is very disturbing. If this girl killed someone at this age, then she needs to be put into a jail or mental institution so she can't hurt other people, or herself. The fact that they seemed to get along makes this story seem all the stranger. The fact that the younger girl hit the other must have been the trigger that pushed her half-sister over the edge, and made her snap. People often say that our culture is too violent. This case could certainly be considered an example of why. Sometimes young children see violent things on television or in video games, and can't understand the repercussions that those things have in the real world. But a 14 year old should be old enough to understand them. This was premeditated murder. She must have been mentally unstable, or something along those lines. Luckily, you don't hear about cases like this very often. Just the idea of a child harming someone that severely- to the point of killing them- is extremely upsetting. People always talk about gun control (which is an important issue too) but sometimes they seem to forget that household objects can be used as weapons as well.

This is deeply disturbing. And yes, 14 years is indeed old enough for someone to have the capacity to recognize immorality and irrational reactions.
ReplyDeleteThis is scary. The fact that she stabbed her so many times, called the police, and said someone else did it. And to top it all off, she managed to take a shower after STABBING HER SISTER 40 TIMES??!!! I couldn't do anything after something that traumatic.
ReplyDeleteYea she's obviously a psychopath. Like there is pretty much no doubt. Extreme anger and violence followed, not by remorse or guilt, but fear of being caught. She knew what she was doing, and psychopaths get sent to prison, not mental facilities (i think).
