Purdue University Shooting

The latest in school shootings: this time at Purdue University. The West Lafayette, Indiana, school told people on-site to 'shelter in place' after the shooting occurred. One student, Brad Glusvewski, said the university warned students via text message of the shooting. No further details have been released since.

Sigh... all these school shootings. It's sad that it's become a trend to shoot up a school. I have a feeling they'll find the shooter soon. Statistically speaking, nearly all school shooters are usually young white men that are angry with the world. It seems to me like nobody died on this rampage, which is at least some good news.

I hate to see all of these shootings lately as well. Thankfully no one was hurt, but no one should have been threatened in the first place. Hopefully the campus will do it's best to put the students in a safe environment.

  2. They need to do some kind of mental stability test before allowing people to buy guns. Then check back in every few months.

  4. I agree wholesale with Gloria. Background checks need to be increased in thoroughness and frequency.
