The article is taking about what happened to the community and just the feel and vibe of the people. It talks about the store owners and how they did not open there doors on Sunday in solidarity of the people that had died and the Jewish communities law on keeping the sabbath holy. Also the article takings about the environment of the old Jewish community and how they were treated in there communities. And last the article talks about how the people of any ensudent has got up and come from “the ashes” and relies on the community to cope with the issues.
This is like when Africans were taken from there homes in there villages and put into salvors and brought to America. Once they were working they were discriminated and put into a category of not beginning good enough for the white American society and they were treated like animals. Even when they were not slaves they were still treated as if not people but as if they were aliens or outsiders. But when one got hurt they would all come together and support each other in every situation for a young one being killed by a police officers gun to one killing the other. We all come together when our community needs it the most.
