china reverses ban on tiger and rhino killing - will goodell
https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/29/asia/china-tiger-rhino-intl/index.html
this past weekend, the chinese government legalized the use of endangered animals such as tigers and rhinos for specific medical uses, something that wildlife activists say will setback efforts to protect endangered species. the new law reverses the 1993 ban by beijing on the international trade of tiger and rhino bones and horns that could be used for 'medical purposes'. in a statement previously this week, chinese officials said that lion and tiger parts could now be used in medical research and healing as long as they came from farmlands. despite being no proof at all that lion or rhino bones and horns actually had any medical benefits, the parts are still very sought after and some are ineffectively bread for such. I personally think that endangered animals like such will and always have been hunted for game, but reversing a law that was put in place to prohibit such acts, only creates a bigger problem, and one that will soon be irreversible.

This is a total travesty that they have allowed the hunting of these critically endangered and undeniably beautiful creatures. This is just another event to demonstrate the absolute cruelty humanity can commit agains nature in defense of not proved superstitions.
