A man named Anthony M. Derlunas, 58, was seen in a theater in Baltimore during a performance of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ holding his arm out in a Nazi salute yelling out “Heil Hitler, Heil Trump.” He apologized for the disruption for it sparked fear into the audience, making them believe a shooting would ocurr similar to the one in a Pittsburgh Synagogue last month. Anthony was heavily intoxicated and claimed the final scene reminded him of his hatred for the president. He was kicked out the theater and permantely banned.
I believe more action should’ve been taken for disrupting the play and possibly traumatizing audience members. He should’ve received a fine or a ticket for it along with the banning. But his intoxication is no excuse for his inappropriate behavior period.
