The fight to end violence against women - Devion Camp

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/25/world/international-day-violence-against-women.html

November 25th, 2018, a 16 day campaign begun in Madrid, to put a stop to violence towards women. Michelle Bachelet, the former president of Chile and United Nations' commissioner for human rights, said that she supports this campaign, it's cause, and how courageous the millions of women are for speaking out about their experiences with abuse and harassment. This campaign overall supports all of the women.

This is very important that more and more people are protesting against the unacceptable abuse. It's unacceptable that you have to fight, protest, or even beg for something you already have. This reminds me of during the great reform, when how women had to consistently fight for some of the most basic rights men are born with.
