$100s instead of $10s - Maria Golici

In the Houston area an ATM has been shut down and guarded because it was despening $100 bill instead of $10s. How often does this ever happen a to an ATM?!? Word of the glitch of course did get around quickly through all of social media available but before things could get out of hand Bank of America shut it down. They released a statement saying that a vendor had misloaded the $100 bills instead of $10s. The lucky winners of $100 bills get to keep their. Bank of America has not say how much cash was accidentally dispensed.

This article was written Novmber 26, 2018 at 5:02 PM. It toke many tries to perfect the ATM. The first one commercially successful ATM was invented in 1967. As the years went on so did the ernovations of the ATM. Now there are over 2 million ATMs around the world serving as a part of our adavanced technology world. Eventhough it is possible that an ATM is broken or malfunctioning i sure wish i was the lucky winner of a $100 bill.

  1. I love your willingness to choose and analize an article without world-worrying consequences and instead choosing a local, funny story. I can’t imagine the luck those receiving those bills must have thought they were blessed with.

    1. Wow! I agree. I can’t believe such a mistake was made. However this was rather interesting. I am also glad that Bank of America was able to take care of it before too much money was lost. Lily Philips
