Trump on climate change- Paige Aleman

After being asked about the findings about the effect of global warming that would wreak havoc on the US economy, he said: "I don't believe it." In october he said that he believed that humans didn't cause the rising temperatures, but it was the work of scientists with a "political agenda."

Now, Trump claims that he no longer thinks that climate change is a hoax but his refusal to believe the research about how global warming will effect the economy may just cost us hundred of billions of dollars annually. Trump believes that we shouldn't have to cut back on our emissions if other countries like China and Japan don't do so as well. I believe that we should start cutting back our emissions, whether or not other countries do so as well, because every little bit can matter in slowing the rise of global warming.

  1. Emma Burkey: It is absolutely outrageous that our president believes that climate change is all a hoax. He believes that there is no proof that we are causing it, (which is just plain wrong), but is there any proof that we aren't causing it? No. It is important that the United States take action now or we will face the consequences only a few years following our graduation from high school.

    1. Oh my gosh this bothers me so much!!! There is clear proof and I feel like one of the only reasons why climate change is still progressing is because the people who don't care to recognize it are continuously disregarding the care we need to be giving to our planet. Y'all we only have ONE (for now)!
