Missouri governor calls for peace ahead of Ferguson verdict - Avery Alexander

The verdict on whether officer Darren Wilson will be arrested for killing 18 year old Michael Brown will be announced Monday night. The governor, Jay Nixon is already calling for peace among the city no matter the outcome. There has already been violent protests which is why he is concerned about the citizens actions. They are already preparing for the worst.

This is a very important verdict because Mike Brown was unarmed and killed. Calling for peace ahead of what the verdict will be was a good move but it all depends on how the citizens will take the result. This whole situation is based on justice. Not receiving justice only adds more to their anger about police brutality. To me, this jury decision has taken way too long.
