Recently elected Texas Governor Greg Abbott says that he plans to sue President Obama within the next two weeks over the new Immigration Act the President is putting into motion. He is garnering support around him from places like Oklahoma and Indiana, whose Governors also say they plan to sue. Abbott and his supporters are questioning the legality and Constitutionality of the Act, which will cover everyone who would've been covered in the now dead DREAM Act, such as undocumented people who came over as children to the US. Abbott has gone on to talk about the supposed impact that these people have made on the State of Texas.
This seems like very similar circumstances to the formation of the nativist Know Nothing party of 19th Century America, who abhorred immigrants who were supposedly causing damage to the United States as well, however they had no other platform or ideas besides the one, and ultimately failed in their endeavor.

I highly doubt there is a chance that this will be successful...but I wonder what would happen if it played out.
