Texas nurse who had worn protective gear tests positive for Ebola (Miguel Dones 6th)

Thomas Eric Duncan died last wednesday from the ebola virus. The nurse that was involved in Duncan's care was tested positive for ebola today. The nurse had been wearing protective clothing so it's hard to say when or how the breach in protocol occurred. She is now placed in isolation with other people that she had extensive contact with. The police are currently knocking on people's doors that lived close to the nurse and are keeping them out of the area. They have cleaned out the nurses car and are working on her apartment. This case has left the hospital to question their protocol. Where did they fail to prevent the infection from occurring? Is the protective gear not strong enough to ensure protection from the virus? Could the infection have been prevented? This case really makes me doubt the procedure that the hospital took to keep the virus that Duncan had, isolated. I hope to see more rules be set so that we can prevent accidents like these from occurring and hopefully no one else becomes infected with this deadly virus.
