A man on a bus was reported to have said "don't mess with me I have ebola" and is now under criminal investigation. This shows the widespread the valid panic attributed to the outbreak of the disease in the USA. In a recent poll, 32% of adults are worried about someone in their family contracting ebola. The fear is a pandemic as much as the disease itself, as its obvious from the criminal investigation of a man who was most likely lying shows the gravity with which Americans are taking this outbreak. With all the media coverage, there's no wonder why ebola has caused such a stir. Hopefully we can find a solution before the country reaches hysteria.
I agree this is really scary. Because the case is in Dallas, it makes it so real and close to home. I hope they can find a way to conceal this dieasso it doesn't spread and wipe out a population.
ReplyDeleteI do believe ebola is becoming an increasing concern in the U.S but i wouldnt go as far to say pandemic. There was only been three to five people diagnosed with the disease in america.
ReplyDeleteIt is a growing concern, and it's similar to foreign exchange. However, it hasn't been too serious yet, and probably won't be. If diagnosed with Ebola, that's something indescribably terrible
ReplyDeleteEbola is a serious issue, but we are not all going to die from it. It is not as serious as it seems. Quentin noble p. 2
