Ebola Contracted in Spain- Azra Zuniga

After coming into contact with a priest who had just finished doing missionary work in Africa, a nurse in Spain became the first person outside of Africa to have contracted the ebola virus. The Spanish government says they did everything instructed by the health department of Spain to isolate and prevent further spreading of the virus. Both nurse and priest died shortly after entering Spain.

I know that talk of the ebola virus is really starting to scare everyone, along with false articles having the headline, "MAN RISES FROM THE DEAD AFTER DYING FROM EBOLA," containing a doctored image of some zombie from World War Z. I myself am terrified, specifically when thinking about the people those people came into contact with before discovering they carried the virus. According to "Times", ebola is supposed to become the new pandemic, which is also alarming, especially when reading that in a highly regarded magazine. But then again, there are people who are becoming extremely paranoid and refuse to leave their houses because of this.

It's sad to hear about people dying, especially when you think about the way ebola kills you, but I firmly believe that you should live your life doing everything you can in your power to make yourself feel fulfilled, rather than spending your whole life in fear of what will happen next.

Regarding Spain, I'm glad the government firmly believes they took the greatest precautions when handling these patients, and I can only wish that the virus will not spread any further. For the sake of the rest of the world, let's hope the priest did not come into contact with very many people, along with the nurse. R.I.P.
