At Seven Lakes High School in Katy, which is a western suburb of Houston, students were evacuated from the school to the football field due to a suspicious backpack that was left outside of the school. A student who is suspected to be responsible of the explosive device has already been taken into custody. Thankfully, so far there have been no explosions or injuries at the Houston High School.
Hopefully, this wasn't an actual bomb. However, if it was I am glad that the suspicious backpack was noticed early enough, and was taken care of. This would have been tragic if the bomb had exploded and students were injured, or maybe even killed. It worries me that students, who are just kids have access to explosive devices, it also scares me that they have the opportunity to ruin many people's lives. Hopefully, if the teen is guilty, he is punished appropriately and learns his lesson.
