A mother and her 5-year-old daughter were sitting in their car on a Sunday morning when a man pulled up in a green SUV. He opened fire on the two, killing the child and injuring the mother. He then fled. The police are still trying to track the suspect. The family is requesting privacy at this time.

I am appalled at the fact that this shooting happened in broad daylight in the city but there were no witnesses. My thoughts are with this family in their time of hardship.
