88-year-old man walks into wife's hospital room in Nevada and shoots her Ilana Lemack

An 88-year-old man,William Dresser, has been charged with attempted murder after shooting his wife in the chest at a Nevada hospital. Dresser has been put on suicide watch and was being held with a $250,000 bail. He supposedly walked into his wife's hospital room in the rehabilitation ward on Sunday and opened fire. The shots were fired from a small caliber semi-automatic handgun. Details of the woman were not immediately available. Her injuries are considered life-threatening and she has been transferred to another hospital. Dresser does not have a criminal past.

This is odd, were they in a fight? Did she do something to anger him? Was he mentally unstable? Something must've happened that caused an 88 year old man (with no criminal past) to shoot his wife. Should the man be charged or is it partially the hospital securities fault? Shouldn't a patient especially that old be watched over at all times? So many questions with so few answers. They didn't give many details in the article, but if you want to read it...check out the link below.

  1. what the heck? Obviously Dresser had something messed up in his head to go and try to shoot down his wife. maybe she was really sick and he wanted her to be at peace sooner? Wow, i don't get it.
