NBC and Fox news said on Monday October 29,2018 that their networks will no longer air Trump's racist anti-immigrant advertisement . NBC was first to announce this after the ad was aired during ''Sunday Night Football'' . NBC followed their change by saying ''we recognize the insensitive nature of the ad and have decided to cease airing it across our properties as soon as possible.'' Fox then followed up . The Trump campaign released it vilified the thousands of migrants walking toward the US southern border , wrongly portraying them as invaders and criminals . It seemed designed to stoke fear ahead of the midterm elections and increase Republican turnout. This ad was determined as Racist by CNN news , while other networks agreed to sell the time.
This article was published by CNN news on November 5th and written by Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy , before the elections . I had no idea this ad was even seen by thousands of people or that this was even made in the first place . Propaganda is always used before elections and this was really racist. This article was written for all the people that are going to vote soon especially . The authors point of view was that this has gone too far and they want to encourage people to do some research about the candidates first to see what they have to offer before voting . This article is trying to inform the public about this racist issue that still goes around . This is important , for some reason this is still happening and it has to do with us.
