The article says that Amazon may or may not be plant on locating in two different cities to different headquarters. From a source that was not allowed to say said to NBC news that Amazon was paying $5 million and $15 million into this headquarters. The location of Amazons new headquarters or corder will be determined by the end of this year. Amazon is requiring for the cities do you have accessible living space for their employees and a large international airport. The cities will have to be accessible for not only employees but for their large amounts of products been shipped in and out of their store/shipping area. Every one is exited to see where amazon will locate.

This relates to APUSH because when America was first beginning Established a News in an area that was located next to accessible ports to export and import goods. Which would help with trade which would in turn help with the economy. Finding places that were near or close to accessible ports meant that they would have to be on the coast. Now that we have plains it is easier to be able to import and export more large groups of established goods and using an area that is located next to accessible ports to export and import goods. Which would help with trade which will in turn help with the economy. Finding places that were near or close to accessible ports meant that they would have to be on the coast. Now that we have plains it is easier to use an airport more then large groups of good of goods being moved by train. Amazon is using the same method to find a place to put there head quarters.

  1. I remember talking about this in APHUG. I cannot believe that the headquarters are still not confirmed.

  3. Very interesting how such a large company can survive without a strong base or headquarters. I was just wondering how exactly does this work. Also fun fact, the arrow on the Amazon logo point from the A to the Z shows that they’re saying they have everything from A to Z.

  4. Wow! I feel like this information has taken a long time to be decided, and it has still not been announced yet. While this is a very important decision that requires time, I think they have spent a great deal of time without the construction of their new headquarters. This would not only benefit the company, Amazon, but also the city the headquarters resides in, and must be taken into consideration thoughtfully. Lily Philips
