On November 2, 2018 two women out of seven were shot and killed in a hot body yoga studio. The names of the two victims were Maura Binkley and Dr. Nancy Van Vessem. Maura was a 21 year old student at Florida State University studying for a double major in English and German. At FSU, she was also a leader of the Tri Delta sorority. Dr. Nancy Van Vessem was 61 and a doctor/medical chief director for Capitol Health Plan. Dr. Nancy had earned her medical degree at St. Louis University. All that is known about the shooting was that it was random that had injured 5 other people at the studio. It is really sad that a place like a hot body studio where you can go to relieve stress could cause so much of it.

I agree with your last statement SO much! It is crazy to think, that we can't go to simple places such as school, stores, or YOGA, without having a fear for our lives and safety. It makes me sad to think, that these innocent people went to yoga to relieve their stress, but by the time the class finished... there was no stress to relieve!
