It is now anticipated that over 8,000 military troops will cover the U.S. border in three states; California, Arizona and Texas. These troops will man the border to stop the migrant caravan coming from different countries in Central America. At the moment there is a large group of immigrants camped out in Mexico City. By tomorrow, election day, it is estimated that 5,000 of our military will be in place with the others coming to assist the original number shortly. Needless to say, both sides are extremely heated about this situation and it has brought the immigration debate to the front of discussions. Is Trump abusing his power by requiring a call to our military when this is not needed? There has to be a better way to protect both the American people while still ministering to those who seek asylum.

I personally don't think there is much of an argument on Trump's side. If people are willing to travel thousands of miles in horrible conditions then they obviously need our help. The fact that Trump is framing them as a danger to us is disgusting.
