Summary:
The grandparents were sitting on the couch in the living room watching tv. The grandson got his grandfathers gun and came into the living room and shot his grandmother in the back of the head. When the gun fired the grandfather says he ran after the child but then went over to his dead wife. He then heard another bullet fire and saw his grandchild, who the couple had custody of, take a few steps before collapsing from a self inflicted wound. He then says he retrieved his gun and called the police. Neighbors tell police that they were a nice family and is a tragic suprise that this happened.

Since the article was written two days after the event there are still many unanswered questions. I had no prior knowledge of this event and has come as a total shock. This incident reminds of the girl in Kansas City, Missouri who killed her family after searching, "scary movies where kids kill parents"and " listening to rap lurics about killing your father." I feel this relates to this tragic event because in the beginning there was alot of confusion on both parts. The girl in Kansas changed up her stories to there being robbers in her home who killed her parents to her father killing her mom and in return her killing her father. The confusion and supicious in this incident surrounds the grandfather and leads me to believe that the grandfather really killled his wife and grandchild. The purpose of the article was only to inform people if the incident and give different point of views of the scenario. This article brung a sense of warning to parents that some children are courageous enough to stand up against an adult and go as far as killing them.
