Taytum Buford (Period 6)- Cats and Dog Saved in Fire

Summary: A dramatic fire rescue was caught on camera Monday in Weatherford, where a family’s pets were found inside a smoke-filled house, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported. Weatherford firefighters were called to the 700 block of East 2nd Street where they found three cats and a dog inside the home. Two of the animals were unconscious, and the other two were lethargic, fire officials said. The firefighters administered oxygen to the animals after bringing them outside. All four patients are doing well now, NBC5 reported. There was no additional information on the cause or extent of the fire.
Analysis: This can relate back to the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire except the unfortunate part was they weren't saved. It is nice to see how much better and faster the firefighter department is getting. This was also a nice story to help give a refresher from the other terrible things happening in the world right now.
