Analysis: It says in the article that Data reported high temperatures, and very little oxygen. I think this is an accident that could have been prevented. Mining is a dangerous job, there can't be careless mistakes like these. The job is already dangerous enough and sometimes you can't prevent explosions. This reminds me of the Chile mining accident where this could've been prevented if they had been up to date with the safety rules.

This definitely shows the need for regulation by the government. There's no guarantee that companies will improve because of the kindness in their hearts
