Ohio School Shooting- Emily Eppig 8th

Yet another school shooting has occurred, this time at Madison Junior-Senior High School in Middletown, Ohio. A 14 year old James Haddock allegedly opened fire in the cafeteria. Luckily only 4 students were injured, all of which are expected to make a full recovery. This portrayal of violence is just another example of how the availability of guns is affecting so many Americans.
This case is so similar to the 142 other school shootings that have occurred in our country since 2013. Specifically, one of the first, Columbine in 1999
Something definitely needs to be done in order to protect American children from this senseless violence. If the government doesn't act soon, our society will become even more desensitized to these crimes.
