Clinton wins South Carolina- Tea Devereaux

Last week, Hillary Clinton won the South Carolina Primary. Clinton beat Bernie Sanders by more than 70% of the vote. Clinton received great support from black voters. It is said that winning this Primary validated Clintons running. This win is said to extend her lead over Sanders and provide just enough delegates to "clinch the Democratic nomination."

I personally believe that this win for Clinton helped her in get closer to "clinch[ing]" the nomination. However I also believe that as they go to the primaries in states with younger people, Sanders will begin to win, and make a comeback. Eight years ago, Barack Obama and Clinton were running against one another. However, Obama won. Many people believe that Obama won because of his race and the fact that the United States had never had an African American President. Similar to today, some believed that Clinton is winning because she is a women and the US has yet to have a female President. Do you believe that this is true? If Clinton is to win the nomination, do you believe that she will win the election? Although Sanders is favored in the eyes of younger people, do you believe that is enough for him to come back and win it?
