"Hurricane Irma strengthens; Florida and Puerto Rico prepare"
http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/04/us/hurricane-irma-puerto-rico-florida/index.html
Summary: Hurricane Irma is a hurricane located on the coast of Florida and Puerto Rico expected to be a category 3, 4, or 5 hurricane. Stated as a "dangerous major hurricane" Irma's path is not fully known so the people in and around those areas have to be aware and have a back up plan for when she touches ground. According to Ricardo Rosselló (governor of Puerto Rico) they would be able to feel the warmth by noon on Wednesday. Along with the warmth that's what helps Irma intensify and become larger and more destructive.
Analysis: On Monday September 4, 2017 Susannah Cullinane, Holly Yan and Joe Sutton published this article using third person point of view. Although I don't quite know where the article was produced I did already know that there was a second hurricane brewing on the east coast. So before reading the article I had a small understanding of it before hand. This article was written for the surrounding areas and in Florida and Puerto Rico to warn them but at the same time they have a chance of loosing their homes due to the strength of the hurricane.
may the people in the areas affected find peace in these chaotic times, its so crazy that america will be affected by two hurricanes in the same season! -Jazmin Marquez
ReplyDeleteSo sad and unexpected that two major hurricanes would strike North America almost at once.
